Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By creating an account on Snaproll or by clicking "I agree" on the registration form, you ("you", "the customer") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.
2. The service
Snaproll ("Snaproll", "we", "us", "our") is an online records and photo management platform operated by Tanweer Mohammad (Sole Proprietor) from Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The service lets organisations (schools, hospitals, offices, and similar) upload, organise, edit, and share records and photographs of their members.
Snaproll is provided on an "as-is" basis. We do our best to keep the service running, but we do not offer a uptime guarantee or service-level agreement at this stage.
3. Your account
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your username and password confidential.
- All activity that happens under your account.
- Notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Ensuring the records and contact details you provide are accurate.
Account creation requires approval by our team. We may decline a registration request without giving a reason.
4. Free trial & paid subscription
After your account is approved, you may start a 7-day free trial by clicking the "Start trial" button in your dashboard. The trial gives you full access to most features so you can evaluate Snaproll for your organisation.
At the end of the 7-day period, your account moves to a locked state. To continue using Snaproll, you must subscribe to a paid plan. Locked accounts retain your data but disable all actions until payment is received.
Subscription fees are listed on our pricing page (or communicated separately during onboarding). Subscriptions renew until you cancel them. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard or by emailing support@snaproll.in — cancellation stops future renewals; it does not refund the current term (see our Refund Policy).
If you don't want to renew but want to keep your data with us, Data Parking is an alternative — a 1-year cold-storage hold (₹999–₹2,500 + GST depending on prior plan) during which you cannot log in but your records are preserved. Renewing a paid plan during the parking period restores access immediately. See the Refund Policy for the parking grace period and deletion timeline.
5. Features unlocked by paid subscription
The following features are not available during the free trial and require an active paid subscription:
- Bulk data export (download Excel of all records)
- Photo ZIP download (bulk export of all photos)
- Shared link generation (sending records to end users for verification)
- Bulk export by columns (multi-photo export)
All other features — uploading records, uploading photos, editing data, browsing records, generating ID-card-grade single photos — are available during the free trial.
6. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Upload data you don't have the legal right to upload.
- Upload photos of individuals without their consent (or, in the case of minors, without consent from a parent or legal guardian — see our Privacy Policy).
- Use the service to harass, defame, or impersonate others.
- Attempt to access another customer's data, reverse-engineer the service, or probe it for vulnerabilities outside a coordinated disclosure.
- Use Snaproll for any unlawful purpose under Indian law.
- Resell, sublicense, or share your account credentials with parties outside your organisation.
7. Your data
You retain ownership of all data and photographs you upload to Snaproll. We act as a processor of that data on your behalf. How we collect, use, and protect personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
You can request a copy of your data, or its complete deletion, at any time by emailing support@snaproll.in. We retain backups for up to 90 days after deletion (see Privacy Policy for detail).
8. Intellectual property
The Snaproll software, brand, logo, and documentation are owned by us. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right in the underlying software beyond the license to use the service while your account is active.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You materially breach these Terms or our Acceptable Use rules.
- Your subscription payment fails after reasonable retries and notice.
- We are required to do so by a court order or law-enforcement request.
You may close your account at any time by emailing support@snaproll.in.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Snaproll is provided without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (including lost profits, lost data not caused by our gross negligence, or business interruption).
- Aggregate damages exceeding the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
This clause does not limit liability that cannot be limited under Indian law (such as liability for fraud or wilful misconduct).
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will email the address on file at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Snaproll after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
